The Theatre and Performance Studies Caucus Graduate Student Essay Prize recognizes one student paper for its innovative contribution to the field and exemplary research.
The 2026 award will be announced and distributed before the winter holidays, and the recipient honored at the 2027 ASECS Annual Meeting. The 2027 prize will be announced and distributed Summer 2027.
SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
For the 2026 TaPS award, papers presented between January 1, 2025, and April 15, 2026 are eligible for consideration. This includes the 2025 virtual conference and the 2026 annual meeting in Philadelphia.
