The Mary D. Sheriff Travel and Research Prize is sponsored by ASECS and by HECAA, the Historians of Eighteenth Century Art and Architecture. It supports the study of feminist topics in eighteenth-century art history and visual culture.
The award of $2,000 is given every other year, beginning in 2019.
Eligibility: Doctoral candidates, early career scholars, and contingent faculty who are current members of ASECS and HECAA.

No applicant may accept more than one ASECS grant or fellowship in any given year.
Winners of ASECS Travel Awards and Fellowships are required to mention the award in the notes or acknowledgements section of any publication supported by the award.
