The ASECS Executive Board offers a prize of $200 for the best paper presented by a graduate student at the ASECS Annual Meeting. (Regional meetings do not qualify.)
Papers submitted for this competition should be no longer than 2,500 words plus notes and illustrations. Papers exceeding this length will be disqualified. To be eligible for the prize, the author must be a member in good standing of ASECS or an ISECS affiliate society who is currently enrolled in a graduate program.
Please submit papers in .pdf format, by uploading them to this Google Form. Please note, you must be logged into a Google account to upload attachments to a Google Form. Submissions must be received by the Monday following the Annual Meeting, which this year is April 4, 2022. The winner will be notified in June and the award announced on the ASECS website and in the August/September News Circular.
