Dear ASECS Members and Friends,
Happy September! Our Nominating Committee, Annual Meeting Program Committee, and Bylaws Task Force have been busy this summer, and would like to share the following updates with you.
- Nominations for the Executive Board: The deadline for nominations to the ASECS Executive Board for the positions of Second Vice President and two Members at Large is Sept. 16, 2024. The terms begin on July 1, 2025. You can find detailed information and the nominations form on the Elections page.
- Call for Papers: The deadline for submissions to sessions (panels, roundtables, poster sessions, and special sessions) is Sept. 20, 2024. The 55th Annual Meeting of ASECS will take place over 2 weekends (March 28-29 and April 4-5, 2025). The List of Sessions page includes information on which weekend the sessions will be held.
- Over 50% of members have voted in the Bylaws Referendum! Eligible voters can cast ballots until October 10, 2024!
- The ASECS membership year runs July 1-June 30. Welcome to all new members! And if you need to renew your membership, you can do so here: ASECS Membership.
