ASECS Selects Management HQ As Association Management Partner

Minneapolis, Minn. – April  29, 2026 – The American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (ASECS) is proud to announce its selection of Management HQ (MHQ) to serve as its association management partner, beginning May 2026.

“ASECS is a community of scholars who care deeply about the quality of the work we do together, and we needed a management partner who understood that,” said Misty G. Anderson, ASECS’ board president.  “The Board researched many different options for leadership support and feels very excited about MHQ. They have a deep background with scholarly societies like ours and a great team, including our long-time conference assistant. We will be working with them actively as a Board to serve our members, support our journals, and host a great annual meeting.”

MHQ will deliver full-service association management services to ASECS, including an executive director, strategic guidance and managing all aspects of the association’s business: accounting and financial management; membership development and retention; board and governance support; marketing communications; technology and database support; annual meeting event management; and office administration.

“We at MHQ are honored to support the work of ASECS, a scholarly society dedicated to the study of the eighteenth century,” said Dara Rudick, MHQ CEO. “We are so pleased to support this association’s impactful board of directors who are committed to engaging future generations, and sustaining an inclusive, welcoming culture where members openly exchange ideas.”

“As I prepare to step into the presidency in the summer of 2026, I look forward to this partnership,” said Elena Deanda Camacho, First Vice President. “MHQ brings both the operational expertise and the genuine appreciation for academic community that ASECS deserves.”
