Dear ASECS members and friends,
On December 2, 1969, ASECS was incorporated in the State of Illinois, and that anniversary coincides this year with Giving Tuesday: December 2, 2025! Our Giving Tuesday goals this year celebrate community. Whether $8, $18, or $180, your gift is a commitment to your community. Let’s think about what just a few dollars can do at this year’s Annual Meeting, for instance:
- $8 buys someone a cup of coffee and snacks at the Graduate Student Meet & Greet!
- $18 pays for the discounted conference registration rate for an international traveler this year!
- $180 covers registration fees for 2 graduate students and 4 Philadelphia school teachers!
As we approach Giving Tuesday, December 2, 2025, please include ASECS in one of your donations. Here’s a sneak peek at the community goals if you’re curious already: ASECS Giving Tuesday 2025.
