Announcing the publication of British Law and Literature in the Long Eighteenth Century (Cambridge UP). The volume shows how legal developments of the period shaped and were shaped by imaginative writing while shedding light on legal and ethical questions that remain of concern to this day. Edited by ASECS member Melissa J. Ganz, the volume includes chapters by David Alff, Andrew Benjamin Bricker, Stephanie DeGooyer, Anne Frey, Melissa J. Ganz, Suzanna Geiser, Mark Schoenfield,  Simon Stern, Kathryn D. Temple, Sarah Winter, and Nicole Mansfield Wright.  The volume is available as an e-book (via Cambridge Core) and in hardback. ASECS member Ruth Perry has published The Ballad World of Anna Gordon, Mrs. Brown of Falkland.
