ASECS 2024 ANNUAL MEETING

Our 54th Annual Meeting will be held April 4 – 6, 2024 at Sheraton Centre Toronto in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Be sure to check passport and visa requirements.US citizens will typically only need a valid passport for Canadian travel. Holders of other passports should check with their home countries’ state departments and the Visit Canada website for possible visa requirements.
Please allow enough time to submit materials for any travel documents. For US passport holders, routine processing is 10 – 13 weeks. Expedited processing is between 7 – 9 weeks with an additional $60 charge.
We are committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming conference environment in which all members participate fully in the exchange of knowledge and ideas. We welcome scholars pursuing all aspects of eighteenth-century studies and in all careers and career stages.

Members of the Program Committee will host the second of regular informational sessions Monday, June 19, 2023, 9am Pacific Time/noon Eastern Time about submitting proposals to the Annual Meeting. Registration is required. The meeting will be recorded.
Topics will include how the conference is organized, the different deadlines for submitting session and presentation proposals, and tips for writing a proposal abstract. Bring questions and comments!
