ECSS announces: New Research on the Jacobites: Book and Website Launch, organized by Professor Leith Davis and the Research Centre for Scottish Studies.

- Professors Leith Davis and Kevin James (University of Guelph) will discuss the publication of their new book, Shaping Jacobitism, 1688 to the Present, as well as Professor Davis’ text, Jacobitism and Cultural Memory.
- Developer Joey Takeda provides a short tour of the SSHRC-funded digital humanities project, “The Lyon in Mourning”.
- Research assistants will “The Lyon in Mourning” will give lightning talks on aspects of the project
Refreshments and Scottish Music: 1:30-2 PM (In-person)
- Music performed by two-time Grand North American Fiddle Champion, Michael Burnyeat.
Workshops: 2-3 PM (In-person) – Media and Maker Commons

- Transcribing an 18th Century Manuscript
