Our Goal

Giving Tuesday Goal 2024
100%

Give to one of 3 key funds!

  • The Sustainability Fund, an unrestricted fund to support year-round ASECS programming
  • Traveling Jam Pot Award, enabling Graduate Students and recent PhDs to attend the Annual Meeting
  • NTTF Award, to support non-tenure track faculty attendance at the Annual Meeting

Other ways to donate:

ASECS supports 17 Library Awards, Caucus Awards, Book Prizes, Article Prizes, and programming throughout the year. Donate via PayPal, credit card, check or money order, or email us about Planned Giving!

The Non-Tenure Track Faculty Fund supported my travel to attend and present a piece of my in-progress book manuscript at the 2024 conference in Toronto. As an adjunct/contingent faculty member, I would not have been able to afford to attend the meeting, present my work, and interact and network with the ASECS scholarly community without financial support.

The ASECS-Clark Fellowship allowed me to view several important primary sources relevant to my dissertation and work with the incredibly helpful staff at the Clark Library to perform both in-person and remote research. Having fellowships that afford this kind of flexibility to do both forms of research is especially helpful for me as a PhD Candidate who is traveling frequently for conferences and research while also often teaching throughout the year.
